Susan received a B.S. in Plant Science and Agribusiness Economics & Management from the University of Arizona, in May 2025. At the U of A she worked in Dr. Martha Bhattacharya's lab, studying the transfer of mitochondria from glial cells to neurons after nerve injury. Her current research focuses on the interaction between vesicles and viruses in host infection.
