I am an environmental engineer with over 10 years of experience studying symbiosis, photobiology, and nutrient exchange in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. My work focuses on biogeochemical and microscale analyses using advanced imaging, stable isotope labeling, and microsensor techniques to investigate mass transfer, metabolic rates, and nutrient assimilation at the subcellular- to full organism level. More recently, I have contributed to research in plant biochemistry investigating genotype-specific carbon pathways and starch granule formation in Arabidopsis.
