The Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology in Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences recently concluded a seven-session writing productivity workshop on April 28, 2019.
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology in Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences recently concluded a seven-session writing productivity workshop on April 28, 2019. The workshop is instructed by Terrence Bell, assistant professor of phytobiomes, and is offered on Sundays during the spring semester in Buckhout Laboratory.
The writing productivity sessions are held in conjunction with the Major Writing Projects: Start to Finish (PPATH 597) class, also instructed by Bell. The workshop provides an opportunity for all undergraduate and graduate students in the Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology to dedicate time to productive writing while holding each other accountable for writing progress. A total of 15 students attended the workshop series which was held on Sundays from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. Sessions for Spring 2020 will be posted on the department's website as soon as they are available.
