The potato processing building upgrades at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center were completed on September 29, 2017. The building now has a new door, new lighting, a new ventilation fan, and most significantly, insulation.

These upgrades will allow potato researchers to conduct post-harvest research without cold weather being a determining factor on when the work needs to be finished. The improvements will likely generate increased building use during the winter and early spring.
