Dr. Kutubuddin Molla joined the Yang Lab as Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow on October 2.

Dr. Kutubuddin Molla, Scientist in the Crop Improvement Division, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) National Rice Research Institute in Cuttack, India, joined the Yang Lab as a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow on October 2, 2017.
Dr. Molla's current research interests stem from the fact that crop plants suffer huge yield loss due to several biotic and abiotic stresses. His research focuses on understanding the basis of plant resistance as well as the genetic improvement of crop plants, especially rice, for stress tolerance/resistance using advanced biotechnological tools.
