Emeritus Professor Gary Moorman offers valuable plant disease diagnosis techniques through PPATH 502 course.

From July 24-August 4, 2017, Dr. Gary Moorman, Professor Emeritus in the Dept. of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology (PPEM), teaches ten graduate students field and laboratory techniques through his PPATH 502 (Plant Disease Diagnosis) course.

Dr. Moorman explains techniques used to diagnose plant diseases caused by various types of pathogens with emphasis on fungi. As a bonus Dr. Moorman introduces the students to classical plant pathology music written by Dr. William (Bill) Merrill, Jr. (1933-2003), Professor Emeritus, and performed by Extension Educator Lee Stivers.
