Minkenberg to Iowa for Leadership Course and World Food Prize

As part of Monsanto's Beachell-Borlaug International Scholars Program (MBBISP) activities, Ph.D. candidate Bastian Minkenberg traveled to Des Moines, Iowa, for a leadership course Oct. 8-11, and the World Food Prize, Oct. 13-15, 2016.

Bastian reported that the leadership course prepared him well for various tasks, such as communication and team management.

During his trip Bastian especially enjoyed the interactions with former and current World Food Prize Laureates at the Borlaug Dialogues and the award ceremony.
