Margaria Gives Lecture at Penn State-Harrisburg Campus

Dr. Paolo Margaria was invited to give a lecture in plant virology as part of the Penn State postdoc visitation program.

Dr. Paolo Margaria, postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Cristina Rosa's lab, visited the Penn State-Harrisburg campus on April 13 to give a lecture on the use of plant viruses in biotechnology for the Plant Tissue Culture and Biotechnology (BIOTC459) class, hosted by Dr. Sairam V. Rudrabhatla.

Following the lecture, Dr. Margaria visited the Central Pennsylvania Research and Teaching Laboratory for Biofuels and met faculty members and staff to discuss research, teaching, and possible collaborations.

The visit was in the context of the postdoc visitation program promoted by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs at University Park and the Office of Research and Outreach at Penn State-Harrisburg, offering to postdocs the opportunity to explore Penn State Commonwealth campuses and present their research.
