Dr. Paolo Margaria, Rosa lab postdoctoral scholar, presented a seminar titled “Where is what: tracking viruses in plant cells using fluorescence" for Blooms and Shrooms, the Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology (PPEM) undergraduate student club, on February 21. The seminar focused on the use of fluorescent molecules to track viruses in plant cells and to study the subcellular localization of viral proteins.

The next club seminar is scheduled for Monday, April 11, at 5:00 p.m. with Ph.D. student Joe Walls as invited speaker. All undergraduates interested in plant pathology and environmental microbiology are welcome to attend.
