Diane is filling the position previously held by Becky Peplinski from 1971 till 2011.  Diane previously served as a staff assistant and as an administrative coordinator in the Department of Meteorology at Penn State from 2001 to 2011, and brings a full set of administrative skills to her new job.  Diane resides with her husband and two children in Huntington, where she is kept busy assisting in constructing and finishing  a new mountain top home, serving as a cheerleading advisor, and collecting and restoring antique farm tractors.  It is thought that all of these abilities may be put to good use in her new position in Plant Pathology, especially the cheerleading.  Diane was welcomed by her new colleagues at a social held on Friday, Jan. 20th, to introduce her to the Department faculty, staff, and students.  If you have the opportunity, please stop by 212 Buckhout to meet Diane and to welcome her to the Department and the College of Agricultural Science.
