Graduate Student Recruitment Weekend

On February 7, 2014, the Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology hosted five prospective Plant Pathology graduate students for interviews.

After an overview of departmental facilities and tour of Buckhout Lab, students had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with several faculty members. Current and prospective students enjoyed lunch together and the current students provided a walking tour of the University Park campus.  The following day, Department Head Fred Gildow met with the prosepctive students for breakfast and a guided tour of the Mushroom Research Center, led by Drs. David Beyer and John Pecchia; a driving tour of town and the research farm; and lunch.
