Congratulations to Dr. Scott Isard for receiving the International IPM Award of Excellence

Scott was awarded the International IPM Award of Excellence at the 7th International IPM Symposium held March 27-29 in Memphis, TN.

Dr. Scott Isard received the International Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Award of Excellence for his contribution to developing and deploying the Soybean Rust – Pest Information Platform for Extension and Education (SBR-PIPE).  The award was “In recognition of the SBR-PIPE program for exemplary collaboration of international agencies, land grant universities, and the soybean industry.” The SBR-PIPE integrates the soybean rust sentinel plot monitoring network with an information technology platform to share data, models, analysis, and expert interpretations on geographic distribution of soybean rust among producers, crop consultants, Extension specialists, and government and industry personnel throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The honor, shared by more than 20 of the primary contributors to the program, was awarded at the 7th International IPM Symposium on March 28, 2012 in Memphis, TN.
