Congratulations to Dr. John Pecchia

Dr. John Pecchia, Assistant Professor/Research Associate and Manager of the Mushroom Research Center
John earned his BS in Environmental Biology from Lock Haven University, his MS in Biology from Bloomsburg University, and his PhD in Plant Pathology from Penn State. Much of his research has involved composting, including mushroom substrate preparation. After graduating from Penn State, John taught at several colleges as an Instructor and conducted composting research at Ohio State University/OARDC and worked as an Environmental Specialist for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. For the last several years, John has been working as a Research Associate and Manager of the Penn State Mushroom Research Facilities.
