Environmental Microbiology Symposium

The Environmental Microbiology Symposium is being hosted by the Department of Plant Pathology and Environmental Microbiology, to celebrate 50 years of Plant Pathology at Penn State, and to initiate our new expanded role in Environmental Microbiology. The symposium is a way to bring together everyone at Penn State who is interested in this topic to exchange ideas and develop potential collaborations.

Keynote Speakers

We have two exciting speakers who will provide keynote talks for the morning and afternoon sessions:

Registration is now open to all Principal Investigators at Penn State working on any aspect of Environmental Microbiology.

PIs will give a very short summary presentation about their research program (approximately 5 minutes, but precise time will depend on the number of registrants). Students and postdocs from your group are encouraged to present posters. Please register for everyone in your lab group, and include names and presentation titles. You may modify your registration up until the closing date of September 1st.

Registration is FREE and lunch will be provided for all registered PIs and their lab members.

The symposium is sponsored by the Huck Institute, The College of Agricultural Science, and the Eberly College of Science.
